It was a fascinating story, though and was well worth the time investment to read.SuziQoregonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15552565982732943323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30712145.post-45040228277044116032010-03-13T09:46:30.319-07:002010-03-13T09:46:30.319-07:00I just wanted to mention that a few years ago I th...I just wanted to mention that a few years ago I think PBS had an entire special on the Brooklyn Bridge. I've just recently read 'The Path Between the Seas,' which is about the Panama Canal. It was written right around the time he wrote the Great Bridge, I think.Benhttp://furiousblog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30712145.post-15870721442019636812010-03-06T22:18:34.175-07:002010-03-06T22:18:34.175-07:00David McCullough has a good reputation as a histor...David McCullough has a good reputation as a historical writer. I haven't yet read anything by him, but from your description of this particular book, this one sounds good. History is so fascinating.Literary Felinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13079276242303738719noreply@blogger.com
