Non Fiction Meme

Gautami Tripathy at My Own Little Reading Room created this meme and tagged me. At first, I wasn't sure how to answer these questions, but I've been giving it some thought so let's give it a go.
a). What issues/topic interests you most--non-fiction, i.e, cooking, knitting, stitching, thereare infinite topics that has nothing to do with novels?
I absolutely love my atlas and thesaurus. I buy a lot of cook books although I don't cook very much. I'm hoping for some kind of an epiphany when I look at all that gorgeous food. It hasn't happened yet. I love houseplan books also. But my favorite non-fiction books are historical, primarily biographies and autobigraphies.
b). Would you like to review books concerning those?
Not the cookbooks. I would have to actually cook something to do a reasonable review, unless readers want me to discuss how good the food looks or interesting-sounding recipes. But definitely yes for the biographies and autobiographies.
c). Would you like to be paid or do it as interest or hobby? Tell reasons for what ever you choose.
Hobby. If I was being paid, I would feel pressure to read the book immediately and spend too much time writing an interesting and meaningfuly review instead of just putting down my feelings. I know a lot of bloggers get ARC's which sounds like something I would like to receive, if my style of reviewing would be acceptable.
d). Would you recommend those to your friends and how?
I recommend this historical books to friends that I think are interested in those kinds of books by telling them about them. If I really like a book I recommend it on my blog.
e). If you have already done something like this, link it to your post.
I've never done any reviews except for those on my blog. I started the reading blog to keep track of what books I've read.
f). Please dont forget to link back here or whoever tags you.

I love my very old thesarus. Atlas I have to keep changing as the world keeps changing. I enjoyed your answers.

You are one good reviewer. No worries on that score.

Thanks for doing this!

I just finished this post as well and am a little embarrassed that most of my non-fiction reading comes from bios/memoirs. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I guess I rely too much on quick information from the web. Hmmm... Too many books, though, not enough time!
